About RAWCS
RAWCS Limited is the National Body responsible for World Community Service projects.

Australia is divided into 5 RAWCS Regions and District 9650 forms part of Eastern Region which consists of 7 districts in the Sydney and country New South Wales areas.

Ideals of RAWCS

District 9650 supports the many ideals of RAWCS particularly encouraging and assisting Rotarians, Rotary Clubs, Rotary Districts and others to participate in meaningful World Community Service projects.

Programmes of District 9650 RAWCS

FAIM (Fourth Avenue in Motion), RAM (Rotarians Against Malaria), SWSL (Safe Water Saves Lives), DIK (Donations in Kind), PTA (Pacific Training Aid) and AAS (Adopt-A-School).

 The role of the District RAWCS committee chairman is to lead, manage and administer the activities of the District 9650 RAWCS committee.

Responsibilities:
To promote the programs of RAWCS Eastern Region.
To promote the programs of RAWCS in District 9650.
To Chair the District RAWCS committee meetings.
To attend the Eastern Region Management committee meetings as the District representative.
To implement a RAWCS training program for District 9650 and the Rotary Clubs of the District.
To supervise the operation of each of the sub-committees of RAWCS in the District.

 The role of the District RAWCS committee secretary is to lead, manage and administer the records of the District 9650 RAWCS committee.

 Responsibilities:
To prepare the notices of meeting and agenda for District RAWCS committee meetings.
To produce and distribute the minutes of District RAWCS committee meetings.
To coordinate District sub-committee quarterly reports and prepare the District 9650 quarterly report to the Eastern Region RAWCS secretary for inclusion in the Eastern Region general meeting minutes.
To keep all records of the District RAWCS committee activities.
To update the personnel records of the District RAWCS committee members.
To prepare a quarterly report to the District 9650 Management committee for Incorporation purposes.
To maintain the District RAWCS Roles and Responsibilities document and advise the web master of any changes.

 The role of the District RAWCS committee treasurer is to lead, manage and administer the finances of the District 9650 RAWCS committee.

 Responsibilities:
To collect all monies paid to the District 9650 RAWCS committee.
To issue receipts for monies received as required.
To bank monies received and maintain all bank accounts.
To record all financial transactions, prepare financial accounts and arrange for the accounts to be audited annually.
To prepare financial reports for the District 96590 RAWCS committee and provide audited accounts to the District 9650 treasurer.
To advise the District 9650 RAWCS committee on investment policy.
To liaise with the Eastern Region RAWCS treasurer on administration of the Overseas Aid Fund.
