Rotary District 9650 - Youth Exchange Program

About YEP, the long-term exchange program

YEP is a 12 month exchange for young people who have the opportunity to spend a year in another country and to live that culture and experience for that year.

Hosted by Rotary Clubs this is an organised exchange that has been operating in District 9650 since the 1970/71 Rotary year.

Host Countries available to District 9650 are: Mexico, Brazil, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, USA, Japan, France, Germany, Belgium, Turkey. Canada, Thailand, Iceland & England on an as-available extra.

Eligibility

16-18 years old.

Costs, approximately

Inbound. approx $2000. Club Costs: $100-$120/month allowance, meeting meals, school uniforms, briefings.

Outlbound. approx $250 for clubs, +/-$15,000 for parents.

FORMS

Preliminary Application Form 2007. For submission to clubs. Clubs will then submit to District YEP upon their agreed endorsement of your application and their sponsorship.
Final Application 2008. Electronic form with interactive fields. For completion ONLY AFTER District..\Downloads\Youth\Rotary Exchange.pdf Interviews AND the District YEP acceptance of your application.
